People are showing support for Bruce Jenner by painting their nails

LOS ANGELES, April 28 (UPI) — Another day, another Jenner driven challenge. Fortunately, this one is safe and doesn’t involve puckering the pout, instead people are supporting Bruce Jenner’s transition by painting their nails.

The #PaintYourNailsForBruce hashtag has been used by fans on social media to show their support for the former Olympian.

During his interview with Diane Sawyer on 20/20, he told the journalist he longed to wear nail polish long enough for it to chip and now he can.

Australian radio station KIIS 106.5 first introduced the hashtag, encouraging both men and women to get creative by donning nail polish in honor of the athlete. People reported that they even set up a free manicure kiosk at Central Railway Station in Sydney on Sunday to spread the cause.
