NEW YORK, Sept. 12 (UPI) — Saturday Night Live cast member Pete Davidson posted online old family photos in remembrance of his father Scott, a firefighter who died in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in New York.
“Can’t believe its been 14 years,” read one of Davidson’s Friday tweets. “RIP Dad #NeverForget.”
“There’s not a day that goes by where I dont think of u. Ur my hero. Cant wait to see u again someday,” another message read.
Overwhelmed by warm wishes from his fans, the 21-year-old comedian later posted: “Thank you so much for all the support today you guys. I really appreciate it. I’m a very lucky guy.”
