LOS ANGELES, March 19 (UPI) — Actors Peter Facinelli and Jamie Alexander have gotten engaged.
Facinelli, 41, proposed to the Thor actress atop the Empire State Building on Monday, his rep confirmed to Us Weekly. Alexander shared a picture of the moment, but failed to mention the engagement, on Instagram.

The couple confirmed their relationship to the public in November 2012, eight months after Facinelli announced his separation from actress Jennie Garth after 11 years of marriage. The former couple finalized their divorce in 2013. Facinelli and Garth are parents to three girls: Luca, 17, Lola, 12, and Fiona 8.
The Twilight star and Alexander made their red carpet debut in January, at the opening of Cirque du Soleil’s “Totem” in Santa Monica.
