March 30 (UPI) — Senior vice president of sales and service for the Philadelphia 76ers Jake Reynolds really loves his team.
But, he must really have a special place in his heart for Ben Simmons.
Reynolds was one of several members of the Sixers’ sales team to get special haircuts recently. His new shave featured a mostly bald head with a crisp image of Ben Simmons etched into the back. The stunt was pulled after the sales team hit its goal of 2,800 season ticket packages.
“When the @sixers sales team sells 2,800 new fulls…S/O to my man @ClipperEdu for the fresh @BenSimmons25 cut,” Reynolds wrote on Twitter.
Other cuts for the team included: the Liberty Bell, 76ers logos, T.T.P. [Trust the Process], and another image featuring rookie Dario Saric’s face.
The Sixers are 28-47 this season, following a 10-72 campaign.
Word is still out to see if the super-fans will #TrustTheProcess as their hair grows back.
