PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 6 (UPI) — Philadelphia Community College was put on lockdown Tuesday, and students and faculty were ordered to shelter in place after reports of a gunman on campus.
About 10 a.m. a man reported he was threatened by another man with a gun in the Bonnell Building on the school’s main campus. Police have told everyone in the building and nearby to stay in place as officers sweep the area.
No shots have been fired and there are no reports of injuries. A witness told police the suspect was wearing blue vest, red hoodie and grey sweatpants.
