CHICAGO (AP) — Cole Hamels of the Philadelphia Phillies is pitching a no-hitter through seven innings against the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field.
Hamels has struck out 12 and walked two Saturday. He has thrown 99 pitches.
The Phillies lead 3-0.
Hamels has been the subject of trade talk with the July 31 dealing deadline less than a week away. The left-hander was the MVP of the 2008 World Series.
