TULSA, Okla., June 5 (UPI) — Less than 24 hours after wife {link:Glory Johnson: “http://www.upi.com/News_Photos/view/fc680e380867dcf80bc9db58f3165aa4/?ilink=1″,nw, t: “The 2013 ESPY Awards at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles”} announced her pregnancy, Johnson’s wife Brittney Griner has filed to annul the couple’s month-old marriage, according {link:to multiple sources.: “http://www.si.com/wnba/2015/06/05/brittney-griner-glory-johnson-annulment-marriage”,nw, t: “SI on Griner-Johnson split”}
But it came as a surprise to Johnson.
“Glory was unaware of the filing and still loves and cares for Brittney,” Johnson’s sports marketing agent {link:D.J. Fisher told TMZ Sports.: “http://www.tmz.com/2015/06/05/glory-johnson-brittney-griner-is-a-liar-blindsided-me/”,nw, t: “Johnson blindsided via TMZ”}

The WNBA duo were married May 8 and also involved in a domestic dispute in April. The pregnant Johnson will miss the upcoming WNBA season.

In the week prior to the wedding, I attempted to postpone the wedding several times until I completed counseling, but I still went through with it. I now realize that was a mistake.”
Griner, 24, plays for the Phoenix Mercury while Johnson, 24, plays for the Tulsa Shock.

Johnson posted a picture of a bun in an oven Thursday.

Griner has averaged 14.3 points, 7.2 rebounds and 3.4 blocks in her first two seasons in the WNBA. Johnson has averaged 13.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in her first three seasons.
