LOS ANGELES, Dec. 23 (UPI) — Sasha Pieterse of Pretty Little Liars is engaged.
The 19-year-old actress shared the news on social media with her new fiance Hudson Sheaffer alongside professional photos of the moments after the proposal, which took place in an open, hilly landscape.
“The best day of my life,” Pieterse, who plays Alison DiLaurentis in the series, wrote on Instagram on Tuesday. “Thank you @jonnieandgarrett for capturing the moment.”
Sheaffer also shared a shot from the proposal, writing “She said yes!!!” before also thanking the photographers.
News of the engagement comes just as controversy emerged regarding the future of hit ABC Family show Pretty Little Liars. Earlier reports suggested showrunner Marlene King planned to end the series after its seventh season, but King promptly dispelled rumors by clarifying her statement on Twitter.
