Prince William and Kate Middleton plan July 5 christening for Princess Charlotte

LONDON, June 5 (UPI) — Britain’s Princess Charlotte — the daughter of Prince William and his wife Kate — is to be christened July 5 at St. Mary Magdalene’s Church on Queen Elizabeth II’s Sandringham estate.

Kensington Palace confirmed the arrangements to People magazine Friday.

Charlotte, her big brother George and their parents live in a 10-bedroom home named Anmer Hall on the estate. The princess was born May 2 in London.

William’s mother, the late Princess Diana, was raised at Sandringham’s Park House and was baptized in the same church in which her granddaughter will be christened.
