LOS ANGELES, Aug. 22 (UPI) — Carmel Musgrove, the 28-year-old, longtime assistant of Hollywood producer Joel Silver, has been found dead on a beach in Bora Bora.
“Joel Silver, his family and his staff are devastated by the passing of Carmel Musgrove,” Silver’s representative told Us Weekly. “Carmel was a dear friend and respected colleague with a very bright future ahead of her. They will all miss her dearly.”
The woman reportedly was swimming alone in the ocean Thursday and disappeared shortly afterward. Her death is under investigation.
Silver was among several celebrities who attended Jennifer Aniston’s wedding to Justin Theroux in Los Angeles, then followed the newlyweds on their honeymoon in Bora Bora.
