Paris (AFP) – Polish second seed Agnieszka Radwanska reached the last 16 of the French Open on Friday with a 6-2, 6-7 (6/8), 6-2 win over Barbora Strycova of the Czech Republic.

She will next take on either 19th seed Sloane Stephens of the United States or Tsvetana Pironkova of Bulgaria for a place in the quarter-finals.

Radwanska is making her 10th appearance at Roland Garros, but her best result to date was a run into the quarter-finals in 2013.

She also contested the 2012 Wimbledon final losing in three sets to Serena Williams.
