Rapper Lil B gets tryout with Philadelphia 76ers’ D-League team

PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 27 (UPI) — You could call it precautionary that the Philadelphia 76ers reached out to Lil B.

The rapper, who put the “based God’s curse” on several NBA players last season for stealing his famed dance move, was offered a tryout for the 76ers’ D-League team Wednesday.

The Delaware 87ers offered the 26-year-old the deal in the form of a tweet saying: “Hey @LILBTHEBASEDGOD come tryout for the #87ers in September! #TYBG”

Lil B responded by tweeting: “@Sevens @Sixers tryout invite accepted see you there!! Philly here I come thanks to your front office for keeping your word – Lil B”
