R&B legend Percy Sledge dead at 74

BATON ROUGE, La., April 14 (UPI) — Famed R&B musician Percy Sledge died of liver cancer Tuesday in Baton Rouge, La. He was 74.

Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005, Sledge was best known for his hits “Warm and Tender Love,” “It Tears Me Up,” “Out of Left Field,” “Sunshine,” “I’ll Be Your Everything” and “When a Man Loves a Woman.”
