LOS ANGELES, March 18 (UPI) — The first trailer for forthcoming comedy thriller Pixels was released Tuesday featuring Pac-Man and Donkey Kong trying to destroy earth.
The sci-fi film follows the aliens response to a message sent by Earth, in which they believed war was being declared through video feeds of classic arcade games. In turn aliens sent real life video games to destroy the planet.
In turn, the president of the United Stated (Kevin James) turns to his childhood friend (Adam Sandler) to form an all-stars gamers team to defeat the video games.
Also starring Josh Gad, Jane Krakowski, Peter Dinklange and Michelle Monaghan, the film will be released July 24.
