Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos scores brilliant bicycle kick goal in loss

SEVILLE, Spain, Nov. 9 (UPI) — Teammates surrounded Sergio Ramos as he winced in pain on the ground after scoring an immaculate goal Sunday in Real Madrid’s 3-2 loss at Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán.

On the play, Ramos connected with an Isco corner kick at the top of the box. With his back toward net, Ramos jumped off of his feet and bicycled the ball into the bottom of the right post.

Ramos reinjured his shoulder on the play and was replaced by Raphael Varane.

Sevilla and Real Madrid were tied 1-1 at halftime, thanks to the Ramos score in the 22nd minute.

The defender Ramos has one goal on four shots in six Spanish Primera Division games this season.
