NEW YORK, May 19 (UPI) — An Australian magazine posted a story on Monday about Rebel Wilson, claiming she has been lying about details in her life.
Woman’s Day magazine said the Pitch Perfect actress lied about her age, which it claims is older than 29, about her name and her background.
After other news sites ran the story, the star mocked the publication and defended herself with humor. She tweeted: “OMG I’m actually a 100 year old mermaid formerly known as “CC Chalice” ….thanks shady Australian press for your tall poppy syndrome x”

As far as the rumors about her name go, Wilson defended herself once again, writing, “Okay but all jokes aside now…my real name is Fat Patricia x”
