LOS ANGELES, May 6 (UPI) — Reese Witherspoon is the latest actress to join the group of ladies who launched a lifestyle website before her. Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop and Blake Lively’s Preserve now has a new competitor called Draper James with Witherspoon at its helm.
The name of the her new creative venture, which launched on Wednesday, is derived from the names of her grandparents, Dorothea Draper and William James Witherspoon.
On Monday, the Hot Pursuit actress posted a photograph of herself choosing some fabrics for something related to the new southern-inspired site.
“Draper James is all about the grace and charm I was raised with growing up in Nashville, Tennessee,” the actress said in a video on the site. “In the south, you can never be too kind, too gracious or too well dressed.”
The site offers a mix of items for purchase like stationary, pearls and even home decor.
“You only get one life, so lets make it pretty, please.” Witherspoon says.
