Oct. 16 (UPI) — Hollywood couple Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander are reported to have tied the knot officially becoming husband and wife.
The private pair are said to have gotten married over the weekend in Ibiza where they exchanged vows at the La Granja farmstead resort alongside family and friends, a source noted to People magazine.
The secret event involved Fassbender and Vikander entertaining their guests on the beach with a boat cruise and a sunset party, sources explained to E! News.
Photos taken of the film stars and published by The Daily Mail, also confirmed their marriage as Fassbender and Vikander were spotted wearing bands on their left hands.
Fassbender, 40, and Vikander 29, met on the set of drama film The Light Between Oceans which began filming in 2014 and was released in 2016.
“It was there pretty much immediately,” Fassbender said previously of the chemistry he shared with Vikander on the film.
