The 37-year-old Mayweather has a 47-0 career record with 26 knockouts. At 36, Pacquiao has a 57-5 career record with 38 knockouts.
The megafight could be the richest in boxing history. Pacquiao is under contract with HBO, while Mayweather has a deal with Showtime.
If Mayweather and Pacquiao do not fight on May 2, Amir Khan is the “leading candidate” to be next in line for both of the fighters, {link:according to ESPN.: “http://espn.go.com/boxing/story/_/id/12252580/amir-khan-waiting-floyd-mayweather-jr-manny-pacquiao”,nw, t: “Amir Khan”}
