LAS VEGAS, Sept. 22 (UPI) — Singer Shawn Mendes is allegedly dating Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello, according to reports.
Sources have allegedly confirmed to E! News the teen stars are supposedly dating after getting to know each other while Mendes toured with Cabello’s ex, Austin Mahone and the X-Factor formed group.
On Saturday, both singers attended the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas, where the 17-year-old Canadian singer photobombed his alleged girlfriend on the red carpet and also jokingly crashed her interviews.
When told they would make a cute couple, Mendes joked, “We can’t do that! I mean Spanish and Canadian don’t really mix” before Cabello added, “We actually hate each other in real life. We can’t stand each other.” As the two started laughing, the 18-year-old songstress opened up about how her relationship with Mahone makes Mendes envious.
“He was so jealous and he couldn’t come out on stage because he was just seething rage and crying blood,” Cabello said.
Although the two have yet to publicly confirm the relationship, the alleged new couple has been spotted spending a lot of time together across social media including an Instagram pic featuring Cabello resting her head on Mendes shoulder.
Mahone and Cabello announced their split in November of last year just a few weeks after confirming their relationship.
