LOS ANGELES, Nov. 4 (UPI) — Rick Ross’ fiancée, Lira Mercer, slammed cheating rumors on Twitter.
The 22-year-old model, aka Lira Galore, took to the social media site Tuesday amid reports she and the 39-year-old rapper and Maybach Music Group founder had ended their engagement.
“I NEVER even met Wiz Khalifa EVER,” she wrote. “Amber [Rose] is 1 of my best friends & Ross has my [heart]. Please stop with the fake stories & let me B happy Thx smh.”
Sources told TMZ the couple called off their wedding after a “major blowout,” and that Mercer had moved out of Ross’ home. The rumors follow speculation the model was involved with Khalifa, Rose’s estranged husband.
Ross and Mercer have been together since the spring, and the rapper proposed with an 11-carat, $350,000 ring in September. The pair looked happy just days ago in a “candid” snapshot the model shared on Instagram.
Ross last debuted Hood Billionaire in November 2014. He will release his eighth studio album, Black Market, on Dec. 4, and told Billboard the record will feature him on a “higher, intellectual level, just discussing a different array of things.”
