WASHINGTON, Jan. 7 (UPI) — Singer Rihanna’s seventh teaser for her upcoming album, Anti, features futuristic themes and her reception of one all-important golden crown.
Uploaded to YouTube earlier this week, the minute-long promo plays less as an advertisement and more as part of an ongoing narrative, showing a darkly-clad Rihanna roaming a mysterious hall before being directed to a room of gold inhabited by four accountants.
After backing out of the room, Rihanna is finally met by the reclusive child, who stars in the six previous clips, and given a golden crown covered in Braille, which dominates the artist’s album art.
“It’s just beyond the vault,” Rihanna wrote in the caption to her Instagram post promoting the new clip. “Discover room 7 of the #ANTIdiaRY at ANTIdiaRY.com.”
Being the latest clip in a series of short videos in which Rihanna discovers a new, hidden room, fans speculate whether the forthcoming eighth clip will finally give them access to the singer’s long-awaited eighth record.
Rihanna officially announced the upcoming album in early October, revealing also the record’s artwork which allegedly shows a young Rihanna holding a black balloon and wearing the golden crown. A splash of red can be seen covering the white background on which a poem written by Chloe Mitchell i written in Braille.
