BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, Aug. 4 (UPI) — While celebrating Barbados’ Crop Over festival in style, recording artist Rihanna and Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton got close enough to spark dating rumors.
According to reports, the British racer mingled closely with the “BBHMM” singer, inching close to the brilliantly costumed Rihanna while she laughed and celebrated with other partygoers.
The self-proclaimed bad girl wore a structured Zulu International costume complete with elaborate, jeweled headdress and full-size feathered wings. Sporting jewels everywhere — even in her makeup — the “Diamond” artist was sure to show off her outfit on Instagram.
Hamilton, on the other hand, hasn’t posted photos of his carnival escapades, although he shared a pic of his cornrows before the festival. “Barbados, we ready!!” the Formula 1 racer said.
Although the two spent time together in Rihanna’s home country, sources tell E! News that the two aren’t dating, and that she instead is “still hanging out with Karim [Benzema] at the moment.”
