‘Riverdale’ actress Tiera Skovbye engaged to producer

Aug. 15 (UPI) — Riverdale actress Tiera Skovbye got engaged over the weekend.

The 22-year-old Canadian star said in an Instagram post Monday that boyfriend Jameson Parker surprised her by proposing in his childhood bedroom.

“This weekend was something out of a dream. The love of my life surprised the crap out of me and asked me to marry him in his childhood bedroom (not planned, I’m really hard to surprise),” Skovbye wrote.

“We got to spend the rest of the weekend hanging out on the lake with both of our families and it was absolutely wonderful. I’m over the [moon] happy. #gettinghitched #heputaringonit #imgonnabeaparker #evenlambsgetmarried,” she added.

E! News reported Skovbye and Parker, an actor and producer, have been together more than two years. Parker is producing the new film Summer of ’84, which stars Skovbye and Mad Men alum Rich Sommer.

“So proud of my love for his first day of filming #summerof84movie!!! You have worked your [expletive] off and it’s paying off!” the actress captioned a photo with Parker in July.

“It has been such a fun adventure watching you work towards your dreams! And even more exciting that we get to work together! #powercouple,” she added.

Skovbye is known for playing Elizabeth Berkley in the Lifetime movie The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story, and presently portrays Polly Cooper on The CW series Riverdale. She and Parker will co-star in the new film Prodigals.
