VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Aug. 6 (UPI) — A Virginia prankster combined his “invisible driver” costume with a homemade robot to play tricks on unsuspecting drive-through workers for a viral video.
Rahat Hossain, who posted the prank video to his MagicofRahat YouTube channel, constructed a robot named “IO” that he secretly controlled by disguising himself in his “invisible driver” costume, which looks like an empty car seat.
Hossain took his creation to numerous drive-through restaurants and filmed the surprised reactions from workers when they saw the robot driving, moving its head and speaking to them.
Some of the workers appear startled by the robot, some are amused and one drive-through worker simply stares blankly at the robot and flatly states, “This confuses me.”
“Please don’t be Ultron, OK?” another worker says.
Hossain occasionally turns the light on the robot’s head from blue to red and gives it a more threatening tone, at one point threatening to steal cookies until workers explain their restaurant does not serve cookies.
