LOS ANGELES, Dec. 29 (UPI) — Ruby Rose quickly dispelled pregnancy rumors by blaming whatever belly she has on Christmas.
The Orange Is The New Black actress, who recently announced she will appear in the upcoming John Wick film, responded to a fan’s speculative tweet after she proclaimed she had special news to tell.
To a Twitter user who asked the celebrity if she was pregnant, Rose wittily replied with the message, “No that’s just from Christmas in Australia with the parentals.”
Rose seemingly didn’t think much of the exchange afterward, but the following day retweeted a report describing the brief conversation, adding “LOL,” in all capitals.
The model, DJ and actress has been keeping herself busy since splitting from ex-fiance, designer Phoebe Dahl. Earlier in December, Rose tweeted to her ex, proclaiming she was still “very dear” to her heart. “I’m a better person because of all we shared,” she said.
Dahl replied with an amicable message of love, writing “you have brought me to my best and I will always love you. I can’t wait to see what the future brings us.”
