MOSCOW, Sept. 22 (UPI) — A group of Russian weapons enthusiasts created a video to answer whether 16 inches of bulletproof glass would be enough to stop a rocket-propelled grenade.
The video, posted to YouTube by user Crash Zone, features the men setting up a dummy behind a 16-inch-thick sheet of bulletproof glass before firing at it with a Russian-made RPG-7 anti-tank “bazooka.”
The explosive tears a hole in the glass and sends the dummy flying backward, with its limbs scattered.
The team tried the same experiment again, this time with two separate sheets of bulletproof glass, but the blast ripped holes in both barriers and again disassembled and launched the dummy.
