LONDON, April 12 (UPI) — Actor and director Ryan Gosling says his girlfriend, actress Eva Mendes, was a tremendous help on the set of their new movie Lost River.
“She was around when I was writing it and she was very helpful in many aspects of the process,” Gosling told the Sunday Express newspaper.
“She interned with the costume department, and with the production design team and she was also acting in it, so she wore a lot of hats on the film.”
Lost River, Gosling’s directorial debut, is in theaters and available via video-on-demand platforms now.
Gosling and Mendes have an infant daughter named Esmeralda.
