LOS ANGELES, May 11 (UPI) — Ryan Reynolds shared a new Deadpool photo on Sunday.
The 38-year-old actor posted a picture of himself delivering a baby as the Marvel character in honor of Mother’s Day, writing, “#Deadpool: A mother[expletive]er since 1991. #happymamasday.”
Deadpool was created by Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld, and first appeared in The New Mutants #98 in 1991. Reynolds portrayed the character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), and will reprise the role for standalone movie Deadpool.

Deadpool is directed by Tim Miller and opens in theaters February 12, 2016. Morena Baccarin co-stars as Vanessa Carlysle, aka Copycat, with Ed Skrein as Francis, aka Ajax, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, T.J. Miller as Weasel and Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead.
