BEDFORD, N.Y., May 14 (UPI) — Ryan Reynolds joined Instagram last week, but he already knows what his followers want to see.
The new dad posted a precious photograph on Thursday of daughter, James, grabbing on to his thumb. He wrote, “Thumb wrestling isn’t always fair. Curiously, my hand is the small one.”
James’ mother, Blake Lively, is already an active user on the social media platform. She welcomed her husband by reposting the same photograph, but added to the caption, “..and with that, my husband @vancityreynolds joins Insta.”
The new parents have been non-stop gushing about the newest addition of their family, but this is the first photo the couple has shared on social media.
While promoting his new film Woman in Gold, the actor told E! News. “There have been times where I woke up, literally had no idea I had been walking for five minutes. But you love it. You wake up in the middle of the night, you got a big stupid smile on your face. I was telling someone else that. Anything else that woke you up every 45 minutes, you’d kill it. But when it’s a baby, it’s the best thing that ever happened to you.”
