SYDNEY, Oct. 13 (UPI) — Lara Bingle says she and Sam Worthington secretly wed in 2014.
The 28-year-old Australian model revealed as much in an interview with Kyle & Jackie O on Monday. Bingle and Worthington have been together since 2013, and welcomed their first child, son Rocket Zot Worthington, in March.
“Sam and I got married nearly a year ago, on the 28th of December,” she told the Sydney radio show. “It was very intimate. We just popped into Melbourne, where Sam’s family is from. Just our family, less than 10 people.”
“We wrote our own vows,” she shared. “Just before the wedding I was in London, so it was really cold at that time of the year. I found something at Louis Vuitton. It was white. [The ceremony] was super chill. I cooked [the] afternoon lunch.”
Bingle most recently shared a photo of Rocket in August, writing, “My mornings are so much better now.” She told Kyle and Jackie O she’s had less freedom since giving birth, but said motherhood is the “best thing in the world.”
Bingle came to fame as a model, and later appeared on the Australian version of Dancing with the Stars and her own reality show, Being Lara Bingle. Worthington is known for Terminator Salvation, Avatar and Clash of the Titans, and last appeared in Everest.
