LOS ANGELES, June 25 (UPI) — Sarah Silverman is to reprise her role of Helen in a multiple-episode arc on the third season of Masters of Sex, Showtime announced.
The 1960s-set drama series is to return for its latest season July 12.
The show stars Silverman’s real-life beau Michael Sheen and actress Lizzy Caplan as William Masters and Virginia Johnson, the pioneers of human sexuality.
“In the third season, the reunited Helen and Betty [played by Tony Award winner Annaleigh Ashford] are trying to have a baby, which unquestionably proves quite a challenge for a lesbian couple in 1966,” a synopsis said.
Silverman is an actress, author and standup comedian.
