LOS ANGELES, April 20 (UPI) — Twentieth Century Fox has released a second trailer for its upcoming superhero franchise re-boot Fantastic Four.
The studio describes the movie as “a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, [that] centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways.
“Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.”
Directed by Josh Trank and starring Jamie Bell, Michael B. Jordan, Toby Kebbell, Kate Mara, Tim Blake Nelson and Miles Teller, Fantastic Four is to open in U.S. theaters on Aug. 7.
