WASHINGTON, Sept. 9 (UPI) — Singer Selena Gomez has revealed the album cover to her upcoming album Revival featuring a nude black and white portrait.
Gomez shared the first images from her album on Instagram Tuesday, including a teaser image which read “This is my…” before the cover was published. The image features a simple white background and Gomez, hair loose and limbs tangled, staring straight into the camera.
Gomez’s first project since leaving Disney for Interscope records is due to hit shelves and online retailers Oct. 9.
Regarding the album’s sound, Gomez told Entertainment Weekly over the summer it will include several songs similar to her hit “Good For You.”
“I’ve lived such a public life that I understand that I’m under a microscope,” she told the publication. “That has taken me into so many different phases. It’s made me depressed and it’s made me happy and it’s made me grateful and humble — but [I’ve learned] it’s okay to let down my walls with my music, to feel sexy and good.”
