ATLANTA, Sept. 4 (UPI) — Selena Gomez is slated to play a sorority sister in the upcoming comedy Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.
The actress and recording artist will reportedly join Seth Rogen, Zac Efron, Rose Bryne and Chloe Grace Moretz for the Neighbors sequel and has already begun shooting in Atlanta.
In a photo snapped from the set, Gomez is seen wearing a tight pink dress, feather earrings and thin socks under sandal heels. A tribe of white-clad sorority girls surround her and a red convertible.
E! News suspects Gomez will play Madison, the arch-rival of Mortez’s character Morgan. Madison is said to be aiming to dethrone Morgan from her sorority top-spot at the house neighboring that of Rogan and Bryne’s characters.
No further official plot points have been released from the set, and there has yet to be an announcement from the studio of Gomez’s involvement in the film.
Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising is scheduled for release in May 2016.
