LOS ANGELES, May 8 (UPI) — Shonda Rhimes isn’t going anywhere.
The 45-year-old screenwriter, director and producer just sold another project to her home network, ABC, and it’s expected to be nothing less than thrilling, E! News reports.
The Catch, produced by Rhimes and Betsy Beers, is an hour-long drama revolving around Alice Martine (Mirelle Enos), a successful fraud investigator who’s about to become subject to fraud herself — by her own fiancé (Damon Dayoub).
The new show will also star Alimi Ballard, Jay Hayden, Jacky Ido, Bethany Joy Lenz, Rose Rollins and Elvy Yost.
Rhimes now mothers four shows on ABC — three of which have been renewed for next season. In the wake of McDreamy’s on-screen death, Rhimes has proven she isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. The Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How To Get Away With Murder creator doesn’t show any signs of stopping, so what should fans expect from next season?
