Los Angeles (AFP) – Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian will miss the remainder of the season after dislocating his shoulder, the team said Friday.

Siemian was hurt in the first quarter of Thursday’s 25-13 win over the Indianapolis Colts, when he was sacked heavily by Barkevious Mingo and came down heavily on his shoulder.

It is the same shoulder that Siemian had surgery on last season, although coach Vance Joseph said the player would not need to go under the knife this time.

Siemian has passed for 2,285 yards and 12 touchdowns this season while being intercepted 14 times.

Brock Osweiler replaced Siemian on Thursday, and threw for two touchdowns and rushed in another.
