SAN ANTONIO, May 14 (UPI) — Batman: The Ride is the first of its kind — a 4-D, magnetic, free-spin coaster — and it can only be found at Six Flags Fiesta in San Antonio.
The state-of-the-art ride, a distinct step-up from its ’90s predecessor from Six Flags Great America, features a 12-story lift, six inversions and two drops exceeding 90 degrees.
Onboard magnetic technology simulates the feeling of weightlessness, causing the cars and their riders to flip head over heels several times throughout the ride. Six Flags also boasts a full-scale Batmobile and the Bat-signal itself within the queue line.
