LOS ANGELES, June 3 (UPI) — Rapper Snoop Dogg expressed some frustration Wednesday on Instagram over the media attention Caitlyn Jenner is getting over her transformation.
His post, which has a photo of Akon, celebrates Akon’s efforts to bring electricity to rural African communities.
“Shout out to Akon! He is about to supply 600 million africans with solar power. Im really upset that this isnt major news but that science project bruce jenner is #Society,” he wrote.
Cleveland Cavaliers guard J.R Smith re-posted the picture with the caption, “Hmmm…What’s more important????”
Smith later deleted his post.
Jenner, formerly known as Bruce, announced her transformation on Monday in a Vanity Fair cover story.
