Snoop Dogg helps hand out 1,500 turkeys in Inglewood, Calif.

INGLEWOOD, Calif., Nov. 22 (UPI) — Rapper Snoop Dogg helped distribute more than 1,500 free turkeys at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.

“Snoop Dogg took pictures with over 800 people at the event,” Mayor James Butts told Southern California’s NBC-TV.

“We had a tented area for seniors to sit in, and the first thing he did was go over to take pictures with everyone there.”

Butts also recalled how when he first met the 44-year-old entertainer last year in his new headquarters for 1500 or Nothin’ in Inglewood, Snoop Dogg said he wanted to do something to give back to the community.
