LOS ANGELES, Sept. 4 (UPI) — British television host Cat Deeley is pregnant with her and husband Patrick Kielty’s first child, she announced Thursday.
The So You Think You Can Dance personality posted the informative message on Twitter, writing briefly, “Exciting news…. Paddy and I are so happy to be expecting our first child in the Spring….. Lucky us.”
Following the announcement, Deeley posted a screenshot of a conversation with her producer, who invited her to “a soft cheese and shellfish party.” The 38-year-old host wrote in the caption “My producer’s response to our exciting news! I laughted till I cried! @jimbreen…. You don’t want to know my reply!”
Deeley was recently announced as one of the Creative Arts Emmys presenters and will take the stage of the awards Sept. 12 ahead of its television premier on Sept. 19.
