NEW YORK, July 14 (UPI) — Sofia Richie is a Material Girl living in a Material World.
Nicole Richie’s younger sister has been named as the new face of Madonna and her daughter, Lola’s clothing brand.
The company is approaching their five year anniversary and to celebrate they chose the 16-year-old beauty for their latest modeling campaign.
In a series of photos for the fashion-forward brand which was shot at The Jane Hotel in New York City, Richie poses wearing graphic tees, leather skirts and festive dresses.
“Sofia Richie perfectly embodies the style and spirit of Material Girl,” Madonna told People. “Coming from an artistic family, self-expression is in our blood. I love Sofia’s style and energy, and look forward to collaborating with her,” Lola added.
Sofia shared the news with her fans on Instagram Monday and wrote, “It’s such an honor for me to announce that I’m the new face of Madonna and Lola’s Material Girl! Can’t wait to show you the awesome ads we created in NYC. Follow @materialgirl for more from our shoot. Coming to Macy’s soon #5years.”
