PALM BEACH, Fla., Nov. 20 (UPI) — Sofia Vergara and fiancé Joe Manganiello kicked off their wedding weekend Thursday.
The 43-year-old actress and 38-year-old actor arrived at The Breakers Palm Beach Resort in Palm Beach, Fla., where E! News reports they hosted an oceanside cocktail party for their family and friends.
Insiders told the website the couple booked 100 hotel rooms for their guests, while Entertainment Tonight anticipates 350 to 400 attendees. Two of Vergara’s Modern Family co-stars, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Ariel Winter, shared photos en route to Palm Beach.
Vergara will reportedly wear a Zuhair Murad wedding gown, and sources say her 23-year-old son, Manolo Vergara, will walk her down the aisle. The actress recently modeled bridal looks for Martha Stewart Weddings magazine’s fall issue.
Vergara and Manganiello have been together since 2014, and got engaged in December. The actress was previously wed to Joe Gonzalez from 1991 to 1993, and called off her engagement to Nick Loeb last year. She and Loeb remain in dispute over their frozen embryos.
Vergara plays Gloria Delgado-Prichett on Modern Family, which airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET. Manganiello is known for portraying Alcide Herveaux on True Blood and Big Dick Richie in the Magic Mike movies, and is slated for Knight of Cups with Christian Bale.
