LOS ANGELES, Dec. 3 (UPI) — Sofia Vergara says her wedding to Joe Manganiello was a dream come true.
The 43-year-old actress opened up about her nuptials to the 38-year-old actor on Thursday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Vergara and Manganiello married Nov. 22 in Palm Beach, Fla., in front of 400 “family [members] and closest friends.”
“[It] was like a dream, like a fairy tale,” the star gushed. “Like, it came out perfectly like how I wanted. I have to say, the people that were helping me do the wedding [were] amazing! I knew what I wanted.”
“We had a party and then an after-party,” she revealed. “[My Modern Family co-stars] had a great time, I think. [There was] a lot of food, a lot of flowers, a lot of nice people. You missed a very good party.”
Vergara and Manganiello held their ceremony and reception at the luxe Breakers Palm Beach resort. The newlyweds later embarked on a tropical honeymoon to Turks and Caicos, sharing photos from their sunny getaway Monday on Instagram.
“Sofia knows how to have a good time,” rapper Pitbull, who performed at the wedding, told Entertainment Tonight. “By the third song in — I did about a 45-minute set — she was on stage with all her beautiful bridesmaids and friends, and that’s when the party started.”
“She definitely dances more than Joe, and Joe was looking on that stage going, ‘Oh boy,’” the singer laughed. “It [was] an honor and a blessing to be at her wedding and to be a part of such a special day with her.”
Vergara and Manganiello have been together since mid-2014, and got engaged in December of last year. The actress was previously wed to high-school sweetheart Joe Gonzalez from 1991 to 1993, and shares 23-year-old son Manolo with her ex.
