LOS ANGELES, May 27 (UPI) — Sofia Vergara isn’t a self-proclaimed gym bunny — at most, exercise is a necessary evil that puts her in a “bad mood” — but on Instagram Monday, the actress showed off one of her special motivators: a cardboard cutout of none other than her celebrity fiancé Joe Mangianello.
Seen in a corner directly across the room from Vergara’s chosen workout machine, the cutout features a shirtless, oiled-up Mangianello in his “Magic Mike” persona. Under the photo, Vergara wrote: “Who wouldnt get motivated with that guy in the back staring at u like that hahahhha!!!!” followed by the hashtag “#Idontwanttoworkout.”
Although the photo looks as if Vergara isn’t having so bad a time in what looks like her private gym, the Hot Pursuit actress told Redbook that she hates the gym.
“I do Pilates. I’m in a bad mood two hours before and while I’m doing it and then I’m done, because I know I have to come back and do it again,” she said. “I’m always asking Joe, ‘Why do people always say they feel great working out?’ I just want to go home and lie down.”
The Colombian bombshell’s personal trainer, Gunnar Peterson, joked with Entertainment Tonight that “her favorite thing to do in the gym is leave.”
“I think it’s a sort of necessary evil,” he told the outlet. “I don’t think it’s her favorite thing, and I know that because of the swear words that she uses bilingually.”
