Sophia Bush, Jesse Lee Soffer respark romance rumors

NEW YORK, Sept. 30 (UPI) — Chicago P.D. co-stars Sophia Bush and Jesse Lee Soffer resparked romance rumors over the weekend.

The 33-year-old actress and 31-year-old actor appeared to be back on when they were spotted holding hands in New York on Sunday. The couple had broken up in June after dating for nearly a year.

“Sophia and Jesse just didn’t work out,” a source told Just Jared at the time of the split. “They dated for about a year and then grew apart. They’re still friends, though!”

Bush and Soffer portray Det. Erin Lindsay and Det. Jay Halstead on the NBC police drama, respectively. Insiders previously told E! News the show’s cast spend “every waking moment together” and “all have really good chemistry.”

“It feels really good,” Bush said of season 3 Tuesday on Today. “The show seems to just get deeper and more complex, and our writers aren’t afraid of letting it be gritty and letting us look like we’re really toeing the line between heroic and making mistakes. It’s really fulfilling as an actor because it feels so creative and full.”

Chicago P.D. season 3 will premiere Sept. 30, with subsequent episodes to air Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET. Bush is also known for playing Brooke Davis on The CW drama One Tree Hill, while Soffer portrayed Will Munson on CBS soap opera As the World Turns.
