LOS ANGELES, Sept. 9 (UPI) — Mel B says fans can expect a partial Spice Girls reunion this fall.

The 41-year-old British singer confirmed on Thursday’s episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden that she, Emma Bunton and Geri Halliwell will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the group’s debut album Spice sans Victoria Beckham and Mel C.

“We are going to do something, us three. We’re gonna perform and celebrate together for the people,” Mel B revealed. “I think ’cause we’re a British band we’re probably gonna start in London and then work our way around.”

“The other two [expletive] didn’t want to do it,” she joked. “Victoria’s busy with her fashion line. Mel C’s doing her own album. So they gracefully said, ‘You three go ahead and do it.’ We’re girl power. We support each other.”

Mel B assured fans there aren’t plans to replace Beckham and Mel C, but said the group will likely invite guest performers onstage. She, Bunton and Halliwell had teased the reunion in July after months of speculation.

“We want to celebrate and have a party. And when we do, you’re all invited!” the trio said at the time. “Happy 20th birthday to all of our fans. We hope to tell you soon what you want, what you really really want…”

Mel C had told Love magazine in August that “something didn’t feel quite right” with the reunion and that she’s focused on her solo career. Beckham, meanwhile, oversees her fashion lines Victoria Beckham and Victoria by Victoria Beckham.
