St. Vincent waitresses at Dallas taco restaurant

DALLAS, Oct. 12 (UPI) — Singer Annie Clark, aka St. Vincent, surprised fans by waiting tables at her sister’s restaurant, Resident Tacqueria, in Dallas, Texas, over the weekend.

The 33-year-old musician served tables at the establishment’s soft opening last week, and St. Vincent came in to help the owner — her sister, Amy Savoie.

“She was just doing it as an excellent sister and knew we needed the help,” Savoie told E! News. “The restaurant was super busy and it was fantastic to have such a great reaction from the neighborhood about the restaurant.”

Several people recognized the “Digital Witness” singer and posted about the sighting on social media. “Hungry? Thirsty? When do u [sic] ever get to have Annie bring u the best tacos and margaritas to your table!” one such fan wrote on Instagram.

St. Vincent was born in Tulsa, Okla., in September 1982, and is one of eight siblings. She released her fourth studio album, St. Vincent, in February 2014, which won Best Alternative Music Album at the 2015 Grammy Awards. She is also known for her relationship with English model Cara Delevingne.
