Footage from the eagerly awaited film is to premiere on ESPN’s Monday Night Football and tickets to screenings of the blockbuster-to-be are to go on sale this week, according to the official Star Wars blog.

Directed by J.J. Abrams, the space saga co-stars Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Max von Sydow.

It takes place after the events of 1983’s Return of the Jedi and is set for release Dec. 18.
