ANAHEIM, Calif., April 7 (UPI) — One female fan went wild during a concert performance and rushed to the stage to embrace Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine.
The Voice coach was startled while he singing at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., Monday evening when a fan jumped on stage mid-song. The veteran vocalist was caught of guard at first, pushing off the excited admirer, but later put his arm around her until security came to remove her.
Hundreds of attendees recorded the surprising incident and shared their reaction via social media.
After the fan was escorted off stage, Levine told the audience, “It’s super terrifying.”
The singer wasn’t able to make it out unscathed. Entertainment Tonight reports that he got a cut on his ear from the woman’s finger nail, but the show still went on.
Monday night’s performance was the last show of the bands North American tour, before live tapings of The Voice start again.
